Aerospace
Rotamic has supplied customers in the aerospace sector for over 20 years and this currently forms our largest market sector. To meet the increasing requirements of this market, in addition to ISO9001, Rotamic Engineering obtained the aerospace standard AS 9100 in 2006.
Approvals and accreditations form a core structure around which our working practices and company culture is based. The environmental management system IS014001, the AS9100 certification and ISO45001 accreditation, Rotamic Engineering is well placed to meet the requirements of a diverse and specialised customer base.
For many years Rotamic has worked with a number of aerospace companies, supplying a wide range of bespoke components.
In 2006 we obtained the aerospace quality approval AS9100 as part of a strategic decision to position the company towards this major market.
Materials and Inventory Management
Rotamic manufactures components in prototype quantities for customer testing and evaluation.
For production volumes, we operate a number of call-off systems to suit individual customer requirements.
All production materials are traceable and sourced from approved suppliers, where required material treatments are sub-contracted to approved suppliers whether commercial or fully NADCAP approved. At Rotamic we frequently work with customers during the design stage of components advising on material suitability and machining feasibility as well as promoting design for production techniques.
Defence
Our defence programmes are again with all the major primes, but with the sensitive nature of this business we are unable to be too descriptive.
Testing and validation
For all aerospace requirements, and in accordance with our latest approvals, all materials and components used in assembly have full certification and traceability. Independent test house validation of materials is also available on request. Sub-contract processes are carried out at NADCAP approved facilities.

Supply Chain
Rotamic maintains close relationships with our various supply chain partners in order to provide customers with the appropriate materials and treatments to meet their specific requirements.
Tooling
When required for the manufacture of components, Rotamic will design and manufacture tooling, jigs, fixtures treatment masks or work holding equipment.
